Class Description
Discover the rhythm of tap – no tap shoes needed! In this Soft Shoe Tap class, Xavier will introduce you to tap rhythms, footwork and musicality using regular shoes. It’s a great introduction to tap dancing, but also perfect for Lindy Hoppers who want to bring new rhythms, steps and techniques straight into their dancing. You’ll also explore skills such as pirouettes, solo jumps and turns, building coordination, balance and control along the way. And if you catch the tap bug, you can continue afterwards into our regular tap classes with tap shoes.

Level Guidance
No previous experience required. We go through basic steps, we dance some nice choreographies, and we introduce you to the very beginning of improvisation.
